Pregnancy & postpartum FAQ’s:
Can I do Pilates if I am pregnant?
Yes! Pilates is one of the most recommended forms of exercise during pregnancy. It focuses on controlled movement, breath work, core strength, and pelvic floor activation — all of which support your body through each stage of pregnancy. We do recommend obtaining medical clearance from your doctor before starting or continuing any exercise program during pregnancy.
Do I need experience to take a class while pregnant?
No prior experience is necessary. Although we highly recommend obtaining medical clearance from your doctor before starting any exercise program during pregnancy.
If you are new to Pilates, we recommend starting with a beginner class and informing the instructor of your pregnancy so they can provide the appropriate modifications.

Yes, Please!
Send us an email to Info@reformologypilates.com, let us know you are pregnant and share the following:
-
